Battery Overcharge does not collect your personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. The game does not connect to the internet to play. Nothing you do in the game is sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to be sent. The only exception is if you choose to make a purchase, which Apple handles, and that is described below.
Effective Date: August 26, 2026
1. Who We Are
Battery Overcharge (the “App” or “Game”) is made by Oleksandr Khomin (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with your use of the App.
Questions about privacy: support@khomin.tech
2. What We Collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal information.
Specifically, the App does not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Your device ID, advertising identifier (IDFA), or any other persistent identifier
- Your location
- Your contacts, photos, microphone or camera
- Your age, gender or any demographic information
- Crash reports or diagnostics
- Usage analytics of any kind
The App contains no third-party analytics, attribution, advertising or crash-reporting software. The App makes no network requests of its own.
3. What Is Stored on Your Device
The Game saves your progress so you can pick it up where you left off. This stays on your device:
- Which batteries you have collected and which cosmetic items you own
- Your Volt balance
- Your settings (sound, music, vibration, accessibility options)
- Gameplay counters used to tune difficulty
None of this is transmitted anywhere, and it is not readable by us. Deleting the App deletes all of it.
4. Advertising
There are no ads in Battery Overcharge. We do not show advertising, we do not use an advertising network, and we do not access the advertising identifier on your device.
We do not build profiles of players, and we do not do behavioural or targeted advertising.
5. Purchases
The Game is free and can be played from start to finish without paying. You can optionally buy Volts, the in-game currency, which are only ever spent on cosmetic items — different battery characters and chargers to look at. Nothing you can buy makes the game easier or unlocks gameplay.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment card, your billing address or your Apple Account details. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
To deliver the item you bought and to let you restore purchases on a new device, purchase information — which product was bought, and a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to your name — is processed by RevenueCat, Inc., our purchase infrastructure provider. RevenueCat also receives technical information such as your device model, operating system version and IP address as an ordinary consequence of the request reaching their servers. RevenueCat acts on our instructions and does not use this information for advertising. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you never make a purchase, none of this happens and no data leaves your device.
6. Children's Privacy
Battery Overcharge is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13.
Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing we need a parent's permission to collect, and nothing about a child that we hold or could disclose. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children of any age. There is no chat, no messaging, no user-generated content, no social features and no way for players to contact one another.
Parents who want to prevent in-app purchases entirely can do so on the device: Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases.
If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact support@khomin.tech and we will act on it — though as described above, the App provides no mechanism for this to occur.
7. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
The only third parties involved are those needed to complete a purchase you choose to make:
- Apple, which processes the payment itself
- RevenueCat, Inc., which delivers and restores the purchased item
There are no other recipients. No advertising network, analytics provider or data broker receives anything from the App.
8. Data Retention
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing.
Data saved on your device is retained until you delete the App. Purchase records held by Apple and by RevenueCat are retained under their respective policies and for as long as needed to support restoring your purchases.
9. Security
The App makes no network requests of its own and holds no account, so there are no credentials to compromise and no server of ours holding your information. Your saved progress is protected by the security of your device.
Purchase traffic is transmitted securely using encryption in transit. No system can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable technical measures are used to protect transmitted information.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to object to its processing.
We hold no personal data about you, so in practice there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete. You are welcome to contact support@khomin.tech to confirm this, and we will respond.
11. Compliance with Privacy Laws
This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable data protection laws, including:
- GDPR and UK GDPR
- CCPA/CPRA
- CalOPPA
- COPPA
Because the App collects no personal data, there is no processing that requires a legal basis, consent or an opt-out. We do not sell personal information and do not use any data for behavioural advertising.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. If a change ever means we begin collecting personal data, that will be stated plainly here before it starts.
